Key Highlights (2024–25)
MANEDA's Foundation Day — 33 Years (30 November 2024)
MANEDA marked 33 years of dedicated service to the community with an event bringing together staff, community members, partners and well-wishers to reflect on the organisation’s longstanding contributions to livelihoods, child rights, disability rights, youth and women’s empowerment, and peacebuilding.
Exhibition & Traditional Food Buffet (1–2 November 2024)
MANEDA’s EYE and FAB teams organised a two-day “Peace through Culture & Identity” exhibition at Senapati Ground, featuring 22 EYE enterprises and 7 FAB communities. The event, attended by the Governor of Manipur and Assam and senior officials, helped EYE partners gain valuable customer and market insights.
Flood Relief Response, Senapati District (2025)
Following flash floods that struck Senapati Town on the night of 30 May 2025,
MANEDA — with support from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation and Azim Premji
Foundation — implemented a coordinated relief response across six flood-affected
colonies: Viewland, Bridge, River, Church Road, Monday Market and Yao-Pao.
260 flood-affected families received food kits, hygiene kits, bedding, clothing, household utensils and safe drinking water
140 vulnerable students received need-based educational support (uniforms, bags, shoes, textbooks and stationery)
8 highly vulnerable families received targeted livelihood support to restart income-generating activities
